In 2023, officers of the customs control service after the release of goods of the Pskov customs stopped the illegal sale on the domestic market of perfumes, food products, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages by individual entrepreneurs and trade enterprises.

Over 434 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise stamps of the Russian Federation and marking by means of identification produced in the Republic of Belarus

More than 434,000 packs of cigarettes without excise stamps of the Russian Federation and marking with means of identification, produced in the Republic of Belarus, the UAE and European countries, during 2023 customs officers found in warehouses and retail outlets in Pskov, Velikie Luk, Porkhov and Opochka. All tobacco products were withdrawn from trade turnover

In trade pavilions and in the territory of wholesale warehouses of Pskov, Velikiye Luk, more than 32 thousand liters of alcoholic products without special excise stamps were detected. Alcohol-containing products were illegally offered for sale both in glass containers and in 4-5 liter plastic canisters. Alcohol from the trade turnover was seized by the police for procedural decisions

In the past year, Pskov customs officers in cooperation with employees of the Pskov Transport Prosecutor’s Office and Rosselkhoznadzor found ham, cheese and sausages produced in Estonia, Germany, Finland and Spain illegally sold in the markets of Pskov. The goods included in the list of goods prohibited to be imported into the territory of the Russian Federation were seized by employees of the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance

In the regional center during the joint inspection measures with the Pskov transport prosecutor’s office revealed the illegal sale of 73 bottles of toilet water, produced in France and Italy, without mandatory marking means of identification. Pskov transport prosecutor’s office initiated a case on administrative offense under part 2 of article 15.12 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. According to the court decision, the individual entrepreneur was fined and the perfume products were confiscated
