A Pskov customs officer refused a bribe of 20,000 rubles for obstructing the customs control of a cargo vehicle. The incident took place on the Russian-Latvian border at the customs post of Ubilinka IACP.
A bribe of 20,000 rubles was offered to a customs officer by a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic for the unimpeded transfer of a truck to the territory of the Russian Federation and not to return it to the Republic of Latvia, due to violations of the procedure for the use of the vehicle.
