Kingisepp customs officers laid flowers and wreaths at the memorial and greeted veterans

Farther away from us may 9, 1945, but we still remember what the price went to our country to Win, and every year, keeping traditions, we gather to pay tribute and respect to the defenders of our country.

May 9, 2020 a significant date – 75 years from the day of the great Victory. In Kingisepp have held several special events, which in conjunction with the administration of Kingisepp municipal district adopted by the management of the Kingisepp customs: the ceremony of laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial “Grove of five Hundred”, the solemn opening of the monument to V. A. Alexandrov, guards average 6-th company avtoproezd on city streets dedicated to the great Victory.

The Kingisepp customs office personally congratulated veterans of the great Patriotic war and became a participant of the Patriotic campaign “Parade from the house of veterans”. On this day, congratulations were addressed to four veterans living in Kingisepp.

Officials Kingisepp customs solemnly marched in front of the veterans to the song of military years “Victory Day”, paying tribute of respect and gratitude to war heroes.

After the official part the head of the Kingisepp customs the Colonel of customs service Igor Kozhanov personally thanked each veteran and presented gifts.

Help: festive events adjusted for the unfavorable epidemiological situation. The events were held with a limited number of participants and compliance with safety regulations (the PPE).
