Irkutsk customs today marks 339-anniversary history education

Irkutsk customs is one of the oldest Russian customs. Today, she notes 339-th anniversary from the moment of its historical formation. On this day, April 15, 1681, was published the Decree of the Tsar and Grand Prince Fedor Alekseevich Romanov on creation of the customs Outpost at the Irkutsk Ostrog.

The chief of Irkutsk customs the General-the major of customs service Yuri Rusakov warmly congratulated (in terms of the prevention of proliferation coronavirus infection audio) team custom with the celebration, noting: “Having gone a long way in its development and formation, Irkutsk customs at all times standing guard over the economic borders of the country, the strengthening of external relations with foreign partners. Today, working in a new environment, completing tasks, our efforts are also aimed at protecting the economic interests of the state”.

In January-March 2020 number of participants of foreign economic activity (FEA), which Declaration in the Irkutsk customs, compared to the same period last year increased by 15% and increased from 594 to 684.

In the 1st quarter of the current year in the Irkutsk customs has been issued 44,8 thousand kinds of goods (+ 5% compared to the same period last year) on 21,6 thousand customs declarations. Statistical value of trade turnover in January-March amounted to 1.4 billion U.S. dollars.

The maximum terms of the Declaration occurred in the Center of electronic Declaration of customs Irkutsk and Bratsk, Ust-kutskiy customs posts.

The share of electronic declarations for goods to be released without the participation of customs officers, submitted by the traders low-risk, in the 1st quarter of this year was 64 %.
