More than 5,500 people serve in the customs authorities of the Far Eastern region. Over the past two years, the number of customs officials in the Far East has been increased by almost 1,000 people

The leadership of the Federal Customs Service made such a decision due to the increased flow of goods through the Far Eastern checkpoints. Additional staff were sent to border checkpoints to ensure the smooth movement of goods across the border, as well as to the Vladivostok customs post (CED), whose declaration array is constantly growing, only by 15% in 2023.

The decision was made by the deputy head of the Federal Customs Service

Alexander Filimonov, deputy head of the department – head of the service, said that in 2023 about 900 people are accepted in the customs authorities of the region, including 64 graduates of the Russian Customs Academy. A total of 1 155 graduates of the Academy are serving in the customs collectives of the region

The work on staffing continues. Full information about vacancies in the customs authorities of the Far East, conditions of service and social guarantees can be found on the official website of the Far Eastern Customs Administration in the “Civil Service” section, subsection “For applicants”.
