The first youth forum of executives of customs bodies of the Ural Federal district took place at the Tyumen state University. The forum coincided with the annual conference Council of youth of the Tyumen customs. In the event took part the management of personnel service of the Ural customs administration, Chairman of the Youth Council of the FCS of Russia Olga Konstantinova, members of Youth councils of the Ural customs administration, the Ural operative customs, customs Yekaterinburg, Koltsovo customs to them. V. A. Sorokin, Chelyabinsk and Tyumen customs, the students and teachers of the Department “Customs” of Tyumen state University.
In the Tyumen customs youth organisation successfully operating for over 11 years. In June 2019, an initiative which was supported by the FCS of Russia: now in all customs bodies of the country have created youth councils.
It was nice to see among the guests of honor, the Deputy of the Tyumen regional Duma Nikolay Babin, the head of the Komsomol brotherhood of the Tyumen region Vladimir Kolunin, head of the headquarters of the Young guard of United Russia in Tyumen Vladimir Sbitnev, assistant to the Deputy Governor of the Tyumen region, the Marietta Matevosyan. These people played a huge role in the development of public youth organizations at the customs office. Even more pleasant was to hear words of encouragement and guidance from senior colleagues.
Today it is safe to say that this community initiative was successful and passed the test of time. The youth Council is not only a place of uniting the most active and promising young specialists, but also the real support of the management of customs to conduct activities of educational, Patriotic, and anti-corruption legislation, including those aimed at improving the image of the customs service and the prestige of the profession of a customs officer, – noted in his welcoming speech the chief of customs Boris Yaskov.
The forum program was intense: the representatives of each customs presented their youth councils, spoke about the most memorable moments of the most important events and promotions that young customs officers organized and carried out independently, and also participated in the interaction with other state institutions. Tyumen customs officers solemnly took in the members of the Council of young colleagues and gave them distinctive badges. According to tradition, was organized an intellectual competition. A fascinating battle, designed to improve team and competitive spirit, gave the opportunity to the participants to show their intelligence, erudition and wit In the game involved six teams among the customs officers and students. The victory was won by team of students called “the Hope of the future.”
The youth Council is a way to unite the young with the same interests, involve active public, professional and creative activities. The development of the youth movement at the customs office provides a reliable base in order that the younger generation was a good change to the veterans, and the custom has maintained sustainable growth.
