Vyborg customs stopped the importation of a large consignment of Dutch cheese

Officials of the Vyborg customs stopped the channel of illegal importation into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) of a large consignment of Dutch cheese.

January 27 at the customs post MAPP cowberry almost the same time arrived five passenger vehicles under the control of citizens of the Russian Federation. In each vehicle besides the drivers, there were two or three passengers.

In connection with the suspicion that the car may be the goods that fall under the prohibitions and restrictions when moving through the customs border of the EAEU with concealment from customs control, the whole transport was sent to the box in-depth customs inspection, including inspection using mobile inspection complexes.

Discovered whole dairy products, with a total weight of nearly 500 pounds, was recognized by the customs authority not intended for personal use. In respect of citizens of the Vyborg customs office filed the case on administrative offences on five facts of not declaring goods under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code. Cheese confiscated and sent to the merchandising expertise to assess its market value. In accordance with the procedure established by the government of the Russian Federation of July 31, 2015 No. 774, all the goods will be destroyed.
