Tyumen customs officers seized illegal smoking products from circulation

More than a thousand electronic nicotine delivery systems and components for them were detected by Tyumen Customs officers in a chain of stores in the town of Zavodoukovsk

In the course of the inspection, the inspectors found that the goods worth about 600 thousand rubles were illegally imported into the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union from China

In addition, some of the goods lacked the mandatory Data matrix-code marking stipulated by the current legislation of the Russian Federation

According to the results of customs control, the customs officers seized the goods for smoking. The actions of the entrepreneur have signs of an administrative offense under Articles 16.21 (Illegal use of goods, their acquisition, storage or transportation) and 15.12 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation (Production, introduction into circulation or sale of goods in respect of which the requirements for marking are established). The owner of the goods faces a fine and confiscation of the offenses
