Chita customs officers found 18 portable radios in the luggage of a Chinese citizen

Chita customs officers at the Zabaikalsk checkpoint found 18 sets of portable radios in the possession of a 51-year-old Chinese citizen who had arrived in Russia on a shuttle bus.

The Chinese-made Ten Talk brand radio electronic devices were carried in his luggage among his personal belongings

When asked verbally about the presence of goods subject to mandatory written declaration, the man answered in the negative, and the inspectors explained that he imported the radios at the request of a trading company (Russian)

Chita Customs initiated a case under part 1 of article 16.2 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation (non-declaration). The issue of initiating proceedings under Article 16.3 of the CAO RF for failure to comply with prohibitions and restrictions is under consideration

The movement of such goods across the customs border of the EEU is carried out in the presence of a license and other permissive documents
