Almost one and a half thousand passenger buses were cleared by Ussuri customs officers in the first days of 2024

For eight days in January 2024, Ussuri customs officers cleared 1,428 buses, as well as goods of about 43,000 individuals at Primorye’s road checkpoints. This is almost twice more than the average figures of the week.
All those wishing to leave Russia and return were processed in a timely manner.
To ensure uninterrupted movement of passenger buses and tourists, the work of customs officers was organized in a reinforced mode. The working shifts of passenger destinations were increased by sending inspectors from other, less busy destinations.
Cargo traffic at the checkpoints located in Primorsky Krai also worked stably. During the first week of the year 3220 cargo vehicles crossed the border, of which 1797 were loaded. the total weight of moved goods exceeded 3.7 million tons
Customs officers worked around the clock at railway checkpoints in Primorye, through which 11 thousand railcars passed. Cargo turnover at these checkpoints amounted to 556 thousand tons.
