Tula samovar, made in the early twentieth century, donated to the Museum Ussuriysk customs

Ussuri customs handed over to the Museum named after V. K. Arsenyev, Vladivostok Tula samovar. Seized during customs inspection samovar recognized cultural value. The decision on its transfer to the Museum took Control of the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation on far East Federal district.

Antique samovar employees Ussuri customs found during a customs inspection in the cab of the Peterbilt, traveling to China through the Border pass of MAPP (Primorsky Krai). The driver of the truck, the citizen of Russia, and tried to take the samovar in a cardboard box. The attention of customs officers drew engraved “steam samovar factory of I. F. Kapyrzin sh s-m BB Tula”, as well as stamps.

As examination has shown, samovar manufactured in the period from 1906 to 1913 in Tula at the factory of I. F. Kapyrzin and is a cultural asset. The product is well preserved to our days, including at the expense of professional restoration.

Offender brought to administrative responsibility under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code of Russia for the Declaration in the prescribed form.

As told the acting chief of the division of property disposition and execution of judgments of the competent authorities of the Ussuri customs Rudich Tatiana, the Siberian customs reports regularly to the museums of Primorsky Krai confiscated cultural values detained in the attempt of illegal export from Russia. Last year the Siberian customs officers have transferred to the Museum of the city Artem antique samovar production in the late XIX – early XX century, and in the Ussuri Museum – collection of ancient coins.
