The Dagestani customs officers have seized a shop in Makhachkala more than 200 Apple devices imported with violations

219 Apple devices without marking Eurasian conformity “EAC” 317 and accessories were seized by the employees of the Dagestan customs during the customs inspection carried out in February 2020 in Makhachkala in one of the chain stores.

During inspection of storage areas in the closet with outerwear were found non-marked with the EAC sign the box with the iPad. Unmarked box with iPhone, Apple Watch headphones Air Pods were placed on racks and the second row of empty boxes of stereo systems. During the inspection it was seized 30 iPad 56 iPhone, the Apple Watch 41, 92 AirPods.

In addition, on display in the sales area of the shop among the accessories for original iPhone was discovered smartphone cases without marking Eurasian conformity. In a drawer under the counter customs officers found the unmarked mark EAS box with headphones and charger to Apple technology.

The documents confirming legitimate importation of the goods into the territory of the EEU, the seller do not exist. The copyright holder sent a request about the legality of the use of the trademark.
