Customs officers in St. Petersburg detained 40 tonnes of European cheese production

Four containers with 40 tons of cheese produced in Europe, carried under the guise of construction materials, was detained in may 2020 at the customs post Bronka employees of the Baltic customs.

The containers were discovered cheese famous European brands Dorblu Classic, Grana Padano Retinato Formaggio Leone, Chevrano XO and a box of instant coffee, chocolate biscuits, dishwashing detergent, washer liquid for cars.

In accordance with the submitted in Baltic CED the Declaration of goods in containers had to be moved about 14.7 thousand plastic canisters with a water dispersion of rubber to a total weight of 73.6 tonnes. In case of the detection of the risk profile was conducted the inspection party.
