The Baltic customs has taken measures in connection with threat of the spread of coronavirus infection

Russian customs has adopted a series of urgent measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

In the Baltic customs temporarily restricted personal reception of citizens by administration of customs and customs posts. This measure was introduced on the recommendations of the Ministry of labour and social protection of the Russian Federation for the prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV).

Citizens who have questions related to the competence of the customs authorities, may apply to the Baltic customs by e-mail ODO_Balcu@sztu.customs.ru, by Fax (812) 713 99 40, 640 37 29 either through storage box to receive correspondence that is installed in the administrative building of customs (Kanonersky island, 32A).

Citizens can also send their questions in writing by mail at the following address: 198184, Saint-Petersburg, Kanonersky island, 32.

In accordance with article 12 of the Federal law of may 2 2006 № 59-FZ “On procedure of consideration of citizens of the Russian Federation” written requests are considered within 30 days from the date of their registration.

The Baltic customs recommends that traders and individuals in the epidemic of the coronavirus to apply for a public service in advising on customs Affairs in writing by e-mail blt-po-odo@sztu.customs.ru or by regular mail at the following address: 198184, Saint-Petersburg, Kanonersky island, 32. We remind you that the written request for a consultation must contain the following information:

– the name of the customs authority, which his drawn face (“Baltic customs”);

– name of the legal entity or the surname and initials of the individuals who wants to get advice, stating the full postal address of such person;

– request for consultations (with reference to article 359 of the Customs code of the Eurasian economic Union (EEU), Administrative regulations) and the content of the questions for the required consultation;

– the form on which the person wishes to obtain advice (written or oral);

– a method of transmitting written consultations (directly to a person – contact phone or mail);

– signature of the person.

To a written request by e-mail the requirements are the same except for the signature of the person.

Also in connection with the adverse situation related to the spread of coronavirus infections are restricted to all posts of the Baltic customs – traders are advised to use boxes to receive correspondence at customs posts, telephone and e-mail communication, all the contacts customs posts are on the site of the North-Western customs administration in the section of the Baltic customs (sztu.customs.ru/folder/12075).

In addition, an effective way of obtaining official information and feedback of the customs authorities with participants in foreign economic activities is the website of the Northwest customs office (sztu.customs.ru), and the use of enterprises and organizations of region “the Personal account of the participant of foreign trade activities” (edata.customs.ru/FtsPersonalCabinetWeb2017/). Information services of the Personal account allow traders to generate and implement the exchange of electronic documents and information with the customs authorities.

Officials of customs posts of the Baltic customs in implementation of customs operations and customs control in the places of temporary storage of goods, customs control zones and areas of customs posts in the compulsory use of personal protective equipment.

A number of officials of the customs transferred to the remote form of professional performance. Officials operating at border crossing points, provided with means of individual protection. The heads of all structural subdivisions of the customs carry out daily monitoring of the health status of subordinate officials.
