Youth Council Kingiseppsky customs have supported the action “Candle of memory”
We mourn all who gave their life has fulfilled a sacred duty, protecting those severe years our homeland. 79 years ago in the early morning of 22 June 1941 without a Declaration of war Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union, dealing a massive blow to military and strategic installations and civilian towns. And it was 1418 days of pain and heroism of the Soviet people.

The poem read:
