Vyborg customs: in the cab of the truck discovered undeclared goods

Officials of the customs post MAPP cowberry once again revealed the fact of movement in a freight vehicle of goods with concealment from customs control.

During the customs inspection using mobile inspection complex operator analysis of images recorded the fact of illegal movement of undeclared goods. In the course of customs inspection it is established that in the cab of the truck in locations difficult to detect illegal moves undeclared goods. Of the technological niches were extracted foodstuffs weighing nearly 30 kg in the amount of 76 units. The vehicle, which is the instrument of committing an administrative offence, was withdrawn.

During questioning, the driver said that the rules of importation of goods, he knows, but about the possibility of seizure of the vehicle is not suspected.

Concealment of goods from customs control when moving through the customs border is an administrative offense, the responsibility for the Commission of which is provided by part 2 of article 16.1 of the code of administrative offences of the Russian Federation.

Vyborg customs reminds that according to sanctions of part 2 of article 16.1 of the code of administrative offences of the Russian Federation violators of customs rules threaten the imposition of an administrative fine on citizens and legal entities in the amount from one second to the triple size of cost of the goods which are the subjects of the administrative offence, with their confiscation or without such confiscation of goods and (or) vehicles, which were the instruments of committing an administrative offence, or confiscation of subjects of an administrative offence; on officials – from ten thousand to twenty thousand roubles.

As interim measures in all cases of detection of movement of goods with concealment of the vehicle, which is the instrument of committing an administrative offence, is withdrawn.
