Volga operational customs office opened a criminal case for failure to pay 2 million of customs duties at import of foreign cars

The fact of evasion from payment of customs payments in the large size when importing from the Republic of Abkhazia of LEXUS LC 600 officers identified the Volga operative customs. The total amount of unpaid customs duties amounted to more than 2 million rubles.

Expensive foreign car was imported into the customs territory of the EAEU Russian citizen born in 1973 disguised vehicle of international transport and were exempt from customs duties. However, after entering the territory of the Russian Federation the international transport of this vehicle is not carried out in due time from the territory of the EEU was not removed.

Employees of Privolzhsky operative customs found that during the customs Declaration of imported cars to the customs authority were submitted fictitious documents concerning international carriage. This resulted in evasion of customs payments in the large size.

On this fact the Volga operational customs office opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 194 of the criminal code. The amount of evasion of customs payments was 2 million 206 thousand rubles.
