Saratov customs: court finds bribe-givers guilty

The Kirovsky District Court in Saratov has handed down a verdict against two men in a case involving a multimillion-dollar bribe to a customs officer.

In November 2023, the defendants gave part of the bribe in cash dollars, equivalent to 158 thousand rubles, to an employee of the anti-corruption department of the Saratov customs.

The court sentenced each of the defendants to a fine of 2.1 million rubles
