        The Ural Customs Directorate held a board meeting. “This year the Urals customs officers are facing ambitious tasks both in terms of replenishing the federal budget and other indicators. Our task is to make our work as effective and efficient as possible,” emphasized Alexei Frolov, Head of the Urals Customs Directorate

         The effectiveness of the work of customs authorities largely depends on the level of interaction with the executive authorities. Vasily Kozlov, Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, and Alexander Kharlov, representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ekaterinburg, received medals from the Federal Customs Service for their significant contribution to the development of customs cooperation. The latter, in turn, praised the work of the Urals customs officers: “When we faced the mass resettlement of our compatriots from European countries, customs was one of the few government agencies that promptly and coherently responded to non-standard requests,” said Alexander Kharlov

In addition, the meeting was attended by Andrei Vetluzhskikh, a member of the Public Council under the FCS of Russia, chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Sverdlovsk region, and Elena Artyukh, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs’ Rights in the Sverdlovsk region

Irina Zakharova, Head of the Customs Control Organization Service, spoke about the effectiveness of the results of the risk management system. She noted that the fiscal efficiency of the application of risk minimization measures has significantly increased. “In 4 months of 2024, the effectiveness before the release of goods amounted to 117.16 million rubles, it is 38% more than in 2023,” said Irina Zakharova

The deputy head of the department – head of the Federal Customs Revenue Service Dmitry Perfilov reported on the problematic issues in determining the customs value and ways to solve them. According to the service, since the beginning of the year in almost 3 thousand declarations for goods were made changes in information about customs value, which is 20% more than last year. “Based on the results of changes in the customs value, additional payments for 680 million rubles were charged. Which is 7 times more than the indicator of the same period last year. According to the decisions within the framework of control before the release of goods, the amount of additional customs payments increased by 58% and amounted to 110.67 million rubles, and according to the decisions within the framework of control after the release of goods to the budget accrued more than 540 million rubles, an increase of 33 times,” – emphasized Dmitry Perfilov

The results of the board formulated and approved decisions, which will be implemented by the end of this year
