While inspecting the truck and weighing the perishable goods, the inspectors found a discrepancy between the actual weight and the weight declared in the declaration. The total weight of illegally imported products amounted to 1070 kg. According to a representative of the legal entity, the vehicle was mistakenly loaded with an excessive amount of apricots, cherries and peppers

“On the fact of non-declaration of goods in relation to the legal entity initiated an administrative case under Part 1 of Article 16.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The owner of the products will face a fine,” said Andrei Visimskikh, head of the Chelyabinsk customs post

With regard to the undeclared fruits and vegetables, the declarant submitted a goods declaration to the electronic declaration center, on which the decision on release was made.
