Yekaterinburg customs officers have checked a large enterprise in the Urals capital that imports palm oil from Indonesia. It turned out that when declaring about 200 lots of goods the customs value was understated. Thus, the budget was underpaid 320 million rubles for these shipments. The company has already transferred the entire amount, and it has been transferred to the federal treasury

Control over the correct determination of customs value remains one of the priority areas in the work of customs officers. Many unscrupulous participants of foreign economic activity try to reduce the legal tax burden. Such cases of understatement of customs value mainly concern goods subject to high customs duties. These are machinery, equipment, equipment, foodstuffs,” emphasized Alexey Kravchenko, Deputy Head of Ekaterinburg Customs
