May 15, 2020 online conference, the head of the Tyumen customs participated in the workshop on the development of the export potential of the Tyumen producers under the chairmanship of the Governor of the Tyumen region.
In the meeting took part the Vice-Governor of the Tyumen region, Advisor to the Governor of the Tyumen region, the Director of the Departments of the Tyumen region (investment policy and state support of entrepreneurs, agribusiness, Economics), President of the Union “commercial and industrial chamber of the Tyumen region”, the General Director of the Fund “Investment Agency of Tyumen region”, head of the Association of exporters of the Tyumen region.
The geography of export, the chief of the Tyumen customs, Boris Yaskov said: “In 2019, exports were carried out in 98 countries around the world. The five largest by value were: the Netherlands, Poland, UK, Sweden and Belgium. In the 1st quarter of the current year the product was exported to 66 countries, of which four for the first time is Cambodia, Malaysia, Japan and Cameroon.”
Compared to the first quarter of 2019 is a decline not only in volumes but also the markets for oil and petroleum products, organic chemical compounds.
However, on such goods as plastic goods, equipment and timber with the reduction of traditional markets, the geography of exports expanding by entering new markets. It is countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Israel, Hungary, Sudan, Romania, Thailand.
