The Vyborg customs have put in order territory sponsored military burial

In anticipation of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war, members of the Youth Council of the Vyborg customs have put in order territory sponsored memorial to soldiers killed in the Central district and buried in a mass grave.

May 5-6 Vyborg customs officers brought an order from the war graves located in the village of Cherkasovo. There lie the remains of some 140 soldiers and commanders of the red Army who died in the Russo-Finnish war and great Patriotic war.

During holidays, the representatives of the youth Council of the Vyborg customs has honored the memory of fallen heroes and laid flowers at it.

 Reference: in connection with observance of sanitary rules and restrictive measures to reduce the risk of infection COVID-19 on the territory of the Russian Federation, public events are arranged, but the cleaning and updating of the memorial sites are conducted in compliance with safety regulations. All officials worked in the PPE.
