The Rostov customs officers have identified more than 1000 packs of tobacco products without excise stamps in one of the retail outlets in Rostov-on-don
Officials of Department of customs control after release of goods of the Rostov customs was carried out the customs control in the form of the customs inspection of premises and territories in one of the outlets engaged in the sale of tobacco products in the city of Rostov-on-don.
In the retail environment, among other presents to the consumer of goods, customs officers found the 1103 packs of tobacco products without excise stamps of the Russian Federation. According to information on the packs, the cigarettes were produced in Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. The proof of purchase and the legality of import into the customs territory of the EAEU of these products, an individual entrepreneur in the course of the audit has not been submitted.
Current law requires that the implementation on the territory of the Russian Federation of tobacco products without the marking of special (excise) stamps are not allowed.
In accordance with the customs legislation of the absence on goods of special stamps, identification signs or symbols goods in other ways is regarded as import of goods into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union, carried out without performance of customs operations and release of goods.
In fact use the goods illegally moved through customs border of the Eurasian economic Union, customs officials initiated a case on administrative offense under article 16.21 of the administrative code. Tobacco products seized.
Help: Foreign goods in respect of which the customs authorities of the Russian Federation carried out by the customs control, shall be the products manufactured outside the Eurasian economic Union (Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic), in the presence of sufficient evidence of illegal movement of these goods across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union.
