The first imported goods are being processed at the new Suhodol sea checkpoint.

In the new maritime checkpoint of Sukhodol, the customs officers of Nakhodka have processed 548 Chinese cars of the brands Haval and Changan. This is the first shipment that has arrived at the port of Sukhodol, which was previously focused only on coal exports. The new cars have already been unloaded from the ship and will be sent to the recipient companies in Russia after processing.
Valery Slesarenko, the head of the customs post of the Maritime Port of Nakhodka, said, «A modern administrative and residential complex has been created for the work of customs authorities in the port, with automated workstations and modern equipment installed. This allows for quality and fast customs control.» The expansion and improvement of the port’s infrastructure is the key to the development of the region’s economy. The plans for the port of Sukhodol include importing cars, container transportation, and much more.
