The FCS of Russia exceeded its plan for transfers to the budget by 158.6 billion rubles

In 2023, customs authorities transferred 6,622.9 billion rubles to the federal budget, which is 6.4% (400.7 billion rubles) more than in 2022.
Thus, the annual target, which amounted to 6,464.3 billion rubles, was fulfilled by 102.45%. In addition, the budget received Br158.6 billion.
The growth of import payments made it possible to compensate for the fallout from the stoppage of gas exports through the Nord Stream pipeline. Thus, in 2023, import revenues amounted to 74.5% of the total amount of payments administered by the FCS of Russia, increasing by 48.4% year-on-year. The amount of payments levied on the importation of goods amounted to 4 931.5 billion rubles.
«Despite all the efforts of our opponents to destabilize Russia’s foreign trade, the explosions of the Nord Stream pipeline, we have confidently exceeded the planned target for the transfer of payments to the federal budget. These are the funds that are extremely necessary for our country today, and I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all customs officers in all regions and divisions of the Central Office of the FCS of Russia for their conscientious and selfless work for the benefit of our Motherland» – – summarized the results of the outgoing year, Ruslan Davydov, Acting Head of the FCS of Russia.
