The Dagestani customs officers seized tobacco products of foreign production without tax stamps

The employees of the Department to control the importation and trafficking of goods of Dagestan customs when performing customs inspection in the store, implementing the tobacco products identified hookah tobacco of foreign manufacture, unmarked special (excise) stamps.

Identified during the inspection the goods in the amount of 360 units withdrawn. On this fact criminal case on an administrative offense under part 4 of article 15.12 KoAP of the Russian Federation.

Paragraphs 2-5, article 4 of the Federal law of 22.12.2008 № 268 – FZ “Technical regulations on tobacco products” stipulates that tobacco products are subject to marking with special (excise) stamps, excluding the possibility of counterfeiting and reuse. Requirements to samples of special (excise) stamps for marking tobacco products and their price are established by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Implementation on the territory of the Russian Federation of tobacco products without the marking of special (excise) stamps are not allowed.
