The batch of ancient coins held by the customs

During carrying out customs control of passengers travelling to tel Aviv, in one of the luggages Mineralovodsky customs officers found 238 coins.

A host of things told to got to inspector, which is a numismatist and exchanged coins in Pyatigorsk. Documents in the collection were not, as, according to him, the coins do not represent historical value. “The result was accepted the decision on carrying out customs examination, the results of which determined that 33 silver coin from Austria, Hungary, Spain and the USA were made in the period from 1739 to 1900 are the cultural values”, – said the first Deputy chief of Mineralovodsky customs Magomed madev.

The passenger filed the case on administrative offences under part 1 of article 16.2 “failure to Declare or false Declaration of goods” under article 16.3 of the administrative code “failure to comply with the prohibitions and restrictions on the export of goods”, providing for the imposition of an administrative fine or confiscation of subjects of an administrative offense. 33 coins were confiscated and kept in the storage of physical evidence Mineralovodsky customs. 205 the remaining coins will be returned.
