According to the expert opinion both sent the goods belong to the category of cultural values as instruments for household purposes (samovars), created over 100 years ago. The market value of cultural property is several times higher than specified in the Declaration and is more than 36 thousand rubles.

“When moving cultural values through customs border in international mail, special permission from the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation must be placed inside the parcel. Over the past year we have prevented 4 attempts of forwarding cultural values,” – said the head of the customs office Koltsovo Airport (email) Victor Shatalov.
