Team Smolensk customs – winner of the championship of the CTS cross-country ski

Team Smolensk customs took first place in the team standings in the championship of the customs authorities of the Central customs administration for cross-country skiing, which was held at the center of skiing “Demino” (Yaroslavl oblast) from 11 to 14 Feb 2020.

The competition was held in the framework of the events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the great Patriotic war of 1941-1945. It was attended by 14 teams of the customs of the CFA. Team Smolensk customs was represented Palina Lazarenkova, Tatiana Prachkina, Maxim Ippolitov Denis Nechaev.

The program of the Championship included two competition days. On the first day of racing took place in the individual championship free style. Women competed on a distance of 3 km men 5 km.

Smolyan has performed quite well. Palina Lazarenkova and Maxim Ippolitov took second place, Tatiana Prachkina finished fourth, Denis Nechaev fifth. This allowed the team of the Smolensk customs to become a leader in the team standings.

The second day of competition was held mixed relay free style: 1st and 2nd stage of the women ran a distance of 2.5 km; 3.4 stage – men 5 km from Smolyan left no chances to his rivals ahead of the nearest pursuers of the Bryansk customs for 3 minutes. In the end, the sum of the two days of competitions the team of the Smolensk customs became the winner and in the team standings.

Winners in team and individual classification were awarded with cups, medals and diplomas of the corresponding degrees.

The results of the competition will be formed the team of the Central customs Department, which will defend the honor of Management in the championship of the Federal customs service.
