Tatarstan customs for the second time in a row becoming the best in the Volga Federal district
Tatarstan customs recognized as the best among teams of internal customs actual control by the end of 2019. For customs officers in Tatarstan’s second straight win in the annual competition of the Volga customs administration for the right to be called the best team in the region.
In structure of Tatarstan customs consists of seven customs posts: Almetyevsk, Kazan Airport, Yelabuga, Kazan, post Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk.
In the region of activity of customs are the two checkpoint. Eighteen functioning of temporary storage warehouses, customs warehouse, a place of international postal exchange, as well as two special economic zones (industrial-production type “Alabuga” and of technical innovation type “Innopolis”).
Foreign trade turnover in the region of activity of Tatarstan customs in 2019 amounted to 307 million 654 thousand. USA (export 172 million 901 thousand. U.S. imports of 134 million 753 thousand. USA).
The main trade partners were the far abroad countries. Their share in turnover made of 88.03%, including in export -79,8%, while imports of 98.6%.
The largest trading partners in exports were: Serbia (26,5%), Saudi Arabia (of 19.62%), Uzbekistan (11,11%), Singapore (8,14%), India (6,91%), China (of 5.84%). The main part of exports – engineering products – 46,65%.
The largest trading partners in imports were Germany (27.5%), Turkey (20.13 per cent), Italy (18,33%), France (6.3 percent), China (5,46%), India (5,07%). The basic structure of the imports of engineering products – 73,77.
After concentration of the electronic Declaration in the Volga customs on customs posts of the customs actual control that serves the vast majority of the Declaration of goods with special Declaration not covered by automatic algorithms. In Tatarstan customs in 2019 customs operations committed against 4377 of goods declarations.
Conducted 586 inspections of customs declarations for goods, 4370 inspections of international mail and goods imported by physical persons in air checkpoints and 12 upon completion of the customs procedure of customs transit.
The revenues of the Federal budget allocated 3 billion 648 million 210 thousand.

During the joint testing activities in the domestic market with stakeholders (Rosselkhoznadzor and Rospotrebnadzor) revealed approximately one ton of “sanctions” products (nuts), more than 13 thousand units of tobacco products without excise stamps, 35 pieces of fur products without the badging.
1 120 international mail identified 13 120 units of counterfeit products. Basically, it is children’s toys.
In 2019, the customs opened 2209 cases of administrative offences and 11 cases.
