Southern Electronic Customs: seized toys will be donated to an orphanage

Southern Electronic Customs has completed investigation of a case on administrative offense under part 1 of article 14.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, initiated on the fact of illegal use of someone else’s trademark

In late 2023, a participant of foreign economic activity from the Astrakhan region, who imports children’s toys, submitted a declaration to the Southern customs post (electronic declaration center) to import into the territory of the EAEU children’s toys with a total weight of more than 7,600 kg and a value of more than 16 thousand U.S. dollars from the territory of one of the countries of the Middle East.

In the course of customs clearance, a declaration was submitted to the Southern customs post (electronic declaration center) to import children’s toys with a total weight of more than 7,600 kg and a value of more than 16 thousand U.S. dollars into the territory of the EAEU

In the course of customs inspection it was found that one of the consignments contains 233 units of children’s farm tractors, which have markings similar to the extent of confusion in form, composition of elements, as well as color combination with the trademark “CAT”

A case on administrative offense under part 1 of article 14.10 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation was initiated against the declarant by Southern Electronic Customs
