Smolensk customs officers stopped the import of 11 tons of unmarked shoes
The import of more than 11 tons of shoes without the labeling was stopped by the mobile group of the Smolensk customs in July 2020.
The vehicle, EN route from Belarus to Moscow, customs officials stopped in the village of Krasnaya Gorka Krasninskoe district of Smolensk region. According to documents in the car were transported to the uppers without soles total weight of over 11 tons.
During the inspection the customs officers found in the cargo Bay over 36 thousand pairs of finished footwear in China, including running shoes and sneakers. The mandatory labelling on the products was absent.
The materials will be transferred to the Management of Rospotrebnadzora across the Smolensk region for consideration of a question on excitation of Affairs about administrative responsibility.
