Smolensk customs officers have recovered more than 7 million rubles of fines for violation of legislation

In the course of administrative proceedings for six months in 2020 units of the Smolensk customs 1226 filed cases on administrative offenses (AP).

According to the articles of Chapter 16 of the administrative code for violations in the field of customs Affairs (breach of customs rules) filed 418 cases, which is 34% less than in the same period last year (in 2019 – 634 cases of AP).

“The decline in the number of cases of AP is associated with a decrease in the overall Declaration of the array during a pandemic”, – said acting Deputy head of customs Alexander Seals.

During this period, was rendered 1088 resolutions on appointment of punishment. Imposed penalties for the sum of 286 million rubles, the confiscated goods and means of transport for the sum more than 180 thousand rubles. Just collected 7 million 435 thousand rubles.

In addition, in the course of manufacture on Affairs about AP lousisana customs payments for the sum more than 1 million rubles.
