Smolensk customs officers have detained more than 20 tons of pork fat suspicious

A vehicle with a salty frozen village fat revealed officials of the Smolensk customs on 9 July, in the village of Krupovka rudnyansky district of Smolensk region.

According to the documents presented by the driver, 20.6 tons of fat transported from Kaliningrad to one of the meat-packing plants in the Leningrad region. During the inspection, customs officers found that a veterinary report for transporting of products “redeemed”. According to the information system “mercury” the veterinary certificate has already been used for the import of similar products.

A vehicle with a suspicious cargo was transferred for further verification, employees of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Bryansk, Smolensk and Kaluga regions.
