Altai customs officers stopped the illegal export of honey

A batch of honey weighing more than 300 kilograms was detained by a mobile group of Altai customs when it was illegally exported from Russia.

The customs officers found 14 plastic containers and 16 glass jars of natural honey produced in Barnaul when they checked a truck bound for Kazakhstan through the Mikhailovka checkpoint. The carrier did not have the necessary veterinary documents confirming the quality and safety of the transported products

Officers of Altai Customs handed over the car with the controlled cargo to representatives of Rosselkhoznadzor for Altai Krai and the Republic of Altai.

The carrier was brought to administrative responsibility. The detained cargo was returned to the place of departure
