Saratov customs: foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Mordovia has increased by 16%
In the 1st half of 2020 foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Mordovia was 235 million 385 thousand U.S. dollars. The exports amounted to 121 million 57 thousand U.S. dollars, while imports 114 million 328 thousand US dollars.
Trade balance of the Republic of Mordovia was positive and amounted to 6 million 729 thousand dollars.
Compared with the 1st half of 2019, the foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Mordovia has increased by 16%, while exports decreased by 7%, import increased by 61%.
Foreign trade turnover of the Republic of Mordovia with the countries of far abroad in the 1st half of 2020 amounted to 157 million 774 thousand U.S. dollars, more than the same period of 2019 to 25%. The trade turnover with CIS countries amounted to 178 million 16 thousand dollars USA and compared with last year increased by 3%.
In the export commodity structure of the Republic of Mordovia was dominated by engineering products – 28% of total exports, metals and products from them – 19%, wood and pulp and paper products – 16%, chemical products – 23%, food products and agricultural raw materials – 10%.
To import goods a leading place was occupied by machinery products – 74% of the total imports of the region, chemical products, rubber – 9%, metals and products from them – 10%.
The main trade partners were the far abroad countries. Their share in the trade turnover amounted to 67%, including in exports – 48%, imports by 87%.
