The Ural customs officers have seized in the market of Yekaterinburg 2 tons of illegal tobacco

Employees of the Ural operative customs has identified one of the wholesale markets of Yekaterinburg, a large consignment of unmarked tobacco for hookahs. It is sold in several places: in the warehouse and two retail locations. According to operational data, tobacco is produced in Turkey. Documents confirming the legality of the importation of the goods, the owners have not appeared. In addition, the tobacco was not tax stamps, and therefore, their implementation on the territory of Russia is prohibited.

Investigators seized a total of 1.96 tonnes of tobacco. Materials will be sent to the internal Affairs authorities for decision in accordance with applicable law.
