Pskov customs: Polish pears identified in the warehouse in Velikie Luki

1540 pounds of “sanctions” pear seized and destroyed in the Pskov region.

In the South region as a result of joint inspection of law enforcement in the sphere of import and realization on the territory of the Russian Federation of agricultural products, raw materials and food in respect of which the prohibitions and restrictions, employees of the Pskov customs, Velikie Luki transport Prosecutor’s office and the office of Rosselkhoznadzor for St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov oblasts found Polish pears.

– RAID storage space, carrying out storage and realization of fruit and vegetable products in Velikiye Luki, revealed 1540 pounds of Polish pears, – said the chief of the customs control after release of goods Nikolai novolodskiy. – Fruits removed and destroyed by the Rosselkhoznadzor. Those who violate the law face the imposition of administrative sanctions.
