Pskov customs has summed up results of activities for the year 2019 at the meeting of the governing Board of customs.
The meeting was attended by first Deputy head of the Northwest customs administration Sergei Berezin, representatives of administration of the Pskov region Department of Federal tax service of Russia in the Pskov region, the Border Department of the FSB of Russia in the Pskov region, the Transport Prosecutor’s office of the Pskov region and other officials.
Reports on the outcomes of operations for the year 2019 was made by the chief customs Svetlana Stepanova, acting first Deputy head of customs Dmitry Golovin, the Deputy chief of customs Columbusoh Julia and Andrew Horacena.
Speakers voiced the facts that characterize the successful activity of the customs authority, and areas that require attention on the part of the management team in 2020.
In the region of activity of customs implemented various projects and experiments aimed at optimization of customs operations in respect of goods and vehicles transported across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union.
For 2019 through customs posts proceeded: 324 840 trucks, 700 813 motor vehicles, 12 buses 110, 569 699 railcars, 151 aircraft, 2 369 211 individuals.
Pskov customs takes a leading position in the North-West region for the production of goods under the customs procedure of customs transit.
In the reporting period at the pass points a number of cases the movement of goods with concealment from the customs authorities. Recorded 108 cases of concealment of goods in specially designed recesses, structural niches (spaces) of the vehicle or directly to the transported goods.
The Pskov customs in 2019, the Federal budget lists the 25 billion 82 million. Plan made on 101,7 %.
Foreign trade turnover in the region of activity of customs in 2019 amounted to 1 billion 683 million US dollars, including import – 1 billion 566 million U.S. dollars, export 117 million U.S. dollars.
In 2019 the results of activities of customs control after release of goods collected 106 million 63 thousand rubles, which is 3 times more than in the same period of 2018.
In 2019 the Pskov customs office opened 4 286 cases of administrative offences and 60 criminal cases. The amount of fines collected in the amount of
64 million 650 thousand rubles.
In the region of activity of customs implemented various projects and experiments aimed at optimization of customs operations in respect of goods and vehicles transported across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union.
At the customs post MAPP Burachki, which is the largest on the Russian-Latvian border, is the submission of a passenger customs declarations in electronic form.
Customs post MAPP of Shumilkino on the Russian-Estonian border is the busiest in the region of activity of customs on the movement of natural persons and registration of passenger vehicles. At the customs post officials implemented additional controls (phytosanitary, sanitary and veterinary) in accordance with the Federal law of 23 April 2018 № 101-FZ “On amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation in terms of determining the competence of the Federal bodies of Executive power on the implementation of the various types of state control (supervision) at checkpoints across the State border of the Russian Federation”.
At customs posts MAPP Kunichina Gora checkpoint and Shumilkino on the Russian-Estonian border implemented the interaction with the Tax and customs Board of the Republic of Estonia in the exchange of information on tax-free.
At the customs post MAPP Ubylinka on the Russian-Latvian border organized to provide information to interested parties using a Wi-Fi network.
In the region of Pskov customs operate 5 vehicle inspection stations: IDK 3 mobile and 2 stationary (the number of funkcioniruet IDK custom ranks first in SZTU).
In the region of activity of customs are serving employees of the Department to control the importation and trafficking of goods using mobile systems in order to prevent the importation of “sanctions” products to the Russian Federation from the territory of the Republic of Belarus. In 2019 identified 579 of vehicles with violations. Returned to the Republic of Belarus 469 consignments destroyed 110 consignments.
Upon completion of the final meeting of the officials of customs were awarded by the Federal customs service and the administration of the Pskov region.

The length of the external border of the region of activity of customs – 883,8 km (with the Republic of Latvia – 233,6 km; with the Republic of Estonia – 247,7 km; with the Republic of Belarus – the 352.5 km).
