On Board of the Privolzhsky customs Directorate summed up the results of the past year

In Nizhny Novgorod held an extended Board meeting Volga customs administration on summarizing the work in 2019.

The event was attended by Deputy head of the Federal customs service Denis Tereshchenko, Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal district Igor Panshin, head of the Volga customs management Aasim Askarov, first Deputy of the Volga transport Prosecutor Vadim Kolosov, the heads of other departments.

The revenues of the Federal budget by customs of the Volga customs administration in 2019, lists more than 142,5 billion rubles. The amount of these customs payments, including import of goods, compared with 2018 the year increased by 13.8%. A number of goods declarations issued by the customs authorities of the Volga region in 2019, compared with the 2018 year increased by 2% and amounted to 372 329 pieces.

An important direction in the activities of the office in 2019 was increased use of technologies of automatic registration of the declarations and automatic release of goods. For 2019, the share of automatic registration for export goods increased from 87.9% in January to 92.8 per cent in December, while imports – from 34.3% in January 2019 to 74.1% in December 2019. Share issued in automatic mode the export of goods from the total amount automatically registered DT with the declared customs procedure of export filed by the traders low-risk rose from 66.1% in January 2019 to 88.2% in December 2019. A similar share in the import has increased from 39.1% in January 2019 to 66.1% in December 2019.

“In 2020, the customs authorities of the Volga customs administration will be part of the pilot areas testing new software that will be used for customs Declaration of goods, – said in his speech, the Deputy head of the Federal customs service Denis Tereshchenko. Also, special attention will be paid to the work of the mobile groups.”

In 2019 as a result of work of the mobile teams revealed 2 334 vehicles with violations (2.1 times more than in 2018), all tested more than 12 thousand of vehicles of international transportation (by 73.8 per cent more than the year 2018).

According to the chief of Volga customs Department Agapimu Ushkalova, the priority areas of activities of customs bodies of Privolzhsky region in the medium term will be the digitalization and automation of processes, ensuring transparency of customs operations and customs control, improving the effectiveness of customs operations, improve conditions of doing business. “There was room for further concentration in the customs Declaration of goods in electronic Declaration Center Volga e-customs, the increased use of algorithms for auto-enrollment and autopause of goods, reduction of terms of customs operations and customs control in strict compliance with the requirements of the customs legislation”, – he told.

Summing up of the Board, Denis Tereshchenko on behalf of the leadership of the Federal customs service thanked the staff of the Volga customs management done in 2019 work. However, he noted: “the Customs service should be intelligent, fast, customizable, information-related, effective for the state and invisible to the business. Our task – to do.”
