Novorossiysk customs officers found the cheese sanctions from the European Union

Officials Novorossiysk customs of the Novorossiysk transport Prosecutor’s office and the southern interregional territorial administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor found in the territory of the outlet, located in the city of Gelendzhik, the goods prohibited for import to the Russian Federation and circulation in the country.

During outdoor events we had sanctions products. Tested product “cheese” weight 5.6 kg, falling in the List of agricultural products, raw materials and food products prohibited for importation into the territory of the Russian Federation, – told the chief of Department of customs control after release of goods of the Novorossiysk customs Andrey Andreev. – According to the packaging of brands cheese “BRIE”, “CAMЕMBERT”, “DORBLU” was made in Germany.

The businessman could not present documents for the acquisition and certification of these products. All sanctions products were seized by representatives of the southern interregional territorial administration of the Rosselkhoznadzor.

Such inter-Agency monitoring activities aimed at detection and suppression of facts of storage and sale of goods prohibited for import to the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the requirements of the decree of the President of the Russian Federation from 06.08.2014 No. 560, are conducted on an ongoing basis.
