North-West operative customs: more than 29 kilograms of narcotic and potent substances seized in 2020
In a complex epidemiological situation continues its activities in the North-Western operational customs. In the period of the restrictive measures did not stop the work SZOT at combating crime
and crimes in the sphere of customs business.
176 criminal cases have been opened in four months 2020 customs bodies Severo-the Western customs office. The greatest number of criminal cases are in the North-Western operational (38), Pskov (24), Pulkovo (21) and St. Petersburg (21) customs.
Under articles 91, 92 of the Criminal procedure code of the Russian Federation’s investigators on suspicion of committing crimes arrested 6 individuals in 5 criminal cases.
The main part of violations for which criminal cases have to article 226.1 of the criminal code – smuggling of strategically important goods and resources. In this article initiated 38 criminal cases.
37 criminal cases were instituted under article 194 of the criminal code – evasion of customs payments collected from organizations or natural persons.
On the facts of illegal transfer abroad of funds and violation of foreign exchange law (article 193, 193.1 of the criminal code) 37 criminal cases.
On the facts of contraband of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances (article 229.1 of the criminal code) – 19 criminal cases.
On the facts of smuggling cash or monetary instruments (article 200.1 of the criminal code) 8 criminal cases were initiated.
On the facts of smuggling alcoholic beverages and tobacco products (article 200.2 of the criminal code) brought 9 criminal cases.
8 criminal cases initiated on facts of illegal creation of a legal entity (article 173,1 the criminal code), 16 cases on the facts of illegal use of documents for establishing a legal entity (article 173.2
THE CRIMINAL CODE).
In the period from January to April 2020 seized narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, more than 28 000 grams, and more than 1 345 grams of potent substances.
An increase in the overall number of instituted cases on administrative offences. In just four months 2020 customs SZTU 7069 initiated cases on administrative offences, which is 961 the case more than in the same period last year.
The largest number of cases of administrative offences in this period brought to St. Petersburg (1599), Pskov (1451), Vyborg (1180) customs.
As at 30 April 2020 customs North-West customs administration of the penalties imposed for 7 182 cases of administrative offences for the sum more than 6 billion rubles.
