Valery Pikalyov paid a working visit to the seaport of Ust-Luga

The head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia familiarized himself with the port infrastructure, the functioning of port services and terminals, as well as with the work of the Ust-Luga customs checkpoint.
Valery Pikalyov paid special attention to the work of the Ust-Luga container terminal – one of the advanced in Russia on the use of modern port technologies.
In January-May 2024, the Ust-Luga customs post processed more than 34.5 million tons of cargo. This is 19% higher than the same indicator of the previous year
In the framework of the visit, the head of the Service also inspected Rosterminalugol, which provides export transshipment of coal from various Russian producers, and Eurochem Terminal Ust-Luga, designed for the receipt, short-term storage and shipment of mineral fertilizers and ammonia.
