Murmansk customs: the structure of foreign trade turnover in the first quarter of 2020

According to customs statistics in the first three months of this year cargo turnover of the region amounted to 91,99 thousand tons, exports amounted to 91,82 thousand tons, imports – more than 0.17 million tons.

On foreign trade of goods in the first quarter of the year filed and issued in Murmansk customs 588 customs declarations. The autoregistration passed 57,01% of export declarations and 62,16% of import declarations. Autobypass was held at 66,41% of export declarations and 8.7% of the import declarations.

The main Declaration of the array to export-import deliveries is submitted by participants of foreign economic activity and processed in the centers of electronic Declaration and electronic customs Declaration.

Exports in January-March 2020 took of 99.38% in the structure of foreign trade turnover in value terms amounted to 300,13 of millions of dollars. The main exported during this period from the region were commodities such as metals and products made of them – 82,92%, food products (fish and crustaceans) – 12,77%, equipment – 4,14%.

Export operations are focused almost exclusively on the market of Far Abroad countries. In the first quarter of the current year the export trade in the region was carried out with 22 countries, including major exporting countries were Finland, Switzerland and China.

Import during the first three months of this year was occupied by 0,62% in the structure of foreign trade turnover in value terms amounted to 1.88 million U.S. dollars. The basis of imports in the current year, the engineering products – 44,39%, food products – 22,99%, chemical products – of 13.37%.
