Murmansk customs: the first in the North-West pre-transit Declaration with the use of autologin feature in the MAPP Lotta

From February 2020, the auto-registration technology has been applied in respect of pre-transit declarations. The first in the North-Western region pre-transit Declaration with the use of auto-enrollment of already-issued at the customs post MAPP Lotta (Finnish-Russian border).

In total, the region on customs posts of Murmansk customs technology auto-enrollment feature six preliminary transit declarations.

Since April of last year, launched a pilot project to implement the technology of automatic registration of electronic transit declarations, which covered part of the Russian customs authorities. Since the end of October of the same year the technology is implemented at the customs posts of Murmansk customs. And in 2020 the use of this technology is possible in all customs authorities in respect of goods transported by any mode of transport.

Recall that technology is provided for conducting automatic tests for the absence of grounds for refusal of registration of the transit Declaration and the correctness of the count of the transit Declaration in accordance with the law of the Eurasian economic Union.

In particular, in order for registration in automatic mode, it must be ensured completeness and correctness of the declared in the transit Declaration data. For example, the documents for inclusion in the register of authorized economic operators and/or customs carriers, on the transport/shipping document, the contract with the customs representative, the declarant, – says Alexey Baturin, acting first Deputy head of Murmansk customs,as well as details of the declarant (principal), the carrier, the sender and recipient of goods, if this is a Russian person.

Compliance can significantly reduce the time of customs operations and follow up of import / export goods.
