Murmansk customs: customs control on the border with observance of security measures

From March 18 to may 1, 2020 by the government of the Russian Federation No. 635-R dated March 16, 2020, temporarily restricted entry to the Russian Federation foreign citizens and persons without citizenship, including arriving from the territory of the Republic of Belarus and citizens of the Republic of Belarus.

According to the Order restrictions do not apply to accredited or designated employees of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of foreign States in the Russian Federation, international organizations and their representative offices, located on the territory of the Russian Federation and their family members; drivers of vehicles for international carriages by air, sea and river vessels, train and locomotive crews in international rail traffic, members of official delegations and persons having diplomatic, service, ordinary private visa issued in connection with the death of a close relative; persons permanently residing on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as individuals transiting through air border crossing points.

While working border checkpoints in the region of Murmansk customs has not changed. Representatives of Rospotrebnadzor carry out a primary survey of entering citizens. Next, the border, veterinary (with import of controlled products) and customs control.

Russian citizens who returned from abroad, sent to 14-day quarantine. The decree with the decree of the chief sanitary doctor of the Murmansk region are awarded to citizens arriving at the border. Additionally, in connection with remoteness from settlements in MAPP Lotta and Salla MAPP on duty ambulance.

Customs control is carried out in accordance with the current legislation of the Eurasian economic Union.

Officials of the customs posts on the border are serving with the use of personal protective equipment, in particular with the use of masks and gloves.
