More than 287 million rubles of benefits on payment of customs payments received by the residents of the free port of Vladivostok and THOR on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the 1st half of 2020

In the 1st half of 2020 residents of free port of Vladivostok (SPV) and territories of priority development (tpd) “Kamchatka” granted exemptions from payment of customs payments for the sum about 287, 5 million rubles. This amount is almost 3.5 times more than in the 1st half 2019 (84,6 mln.)

Resident companies imported nearly 1.5 thousand tons of foreign goods, the statistical value of 15.3 million U.S. dollars. The goods were furnished under the customs procedure of free customs zone that allows you not to pay customs duties and taxes. A prerequisite is the use of such items solely on a specially equipped and furnished for these purposes the plot.

Only the 1st half of 2020 according to the procedure of customs-free zone decorated with 38 consignments. The largest consignment (building materials) imported by a resident SPV, building a hotel complex in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

Also in the 1st half of 2020 residents of TOR “Kamchatka” declared under the customs procedure of free customs zone various equipment for fish processing plants.

Now in the Kamchatka region has 4 of the customs control zone created for the use of the customs procedure of free customs zone. Three of them are created on sites residents of TOR “Kamchatka”, one – section resident SPV.

As told the acting chief of Department of customs procedures and customs control of the Kamchatka customs Elena Figurova, another existing resident SPV is considering the possibility to use the procedure for the implementation of your investment project. The company plans to create in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky modern international marine reefer terminal for integrated service fishing vessels and TRANS-shipment of dry and refrigerated cargo.
