More than 26 billion rubles transferred to the budget of the state Buryat customs for 2019

26,34 billion roubles transferred to the state budget of Buryat customs for 2019. This 17.3 billion more than in 2018.

According to the head of the Buryat customs Andreya Poletaeva, over the past three years in the region of activity of customs seen steady positive dynamics on many fronts. Foreign trade in 2019 in the region of customs activities is characterized by an increase in the value of trade turnover, which amounted to 2.3 billion USD and increased in comparison with last year, more than 2 times. If we consider the dynamics of 2017, the increase was 6.6 times. This, in turn, influenced the growth of customs duties: in 2017, the budget was transferred about 2.5 billion rubles, in 2018, this amount was already 9 billion, and by the end of 2019 exceeded 26 billion rubles.

From 2017 to 2019 there is an annual 20 percent increase in Declaration of the array, more than 90% of the declarations which released with application of technology of remote release.

In 2019 the Buryat customs officers have issued nearly 7 million tons of cargo, of which more than 97% – at the customs post of checkpoint Naushki.

On checkpoint Naushki annually increases the share of transit, this is due, primarily, using the technology of remote release, implemented by the center for electronic Declaration of the Buryat customs. In 2018, the issue of transit declarations increased compared with the 2017 year by nearly 34%, and in 2019 for another 37%.

In 2019 in the region of activity of customs foreign trade operations were performed with partners from 82 countries of the world. Main trading partner is still China, occupying 80% of the total turnover. In the structure of trade import prevails over export ratio of 82% to 18%.

The main export goods were helicopters, timber. Of import the basic share of machines, equipment, vehicles, foodstuffs and agricultural raw materials.

In 2019, the customs posts of the Buryat customs has issued more than 21.6 thousand 3755 road freight and railway transport, aircraft and 730 532 passenger trains, 183,5 thousand passenger cars and 6092 bus, more than 800 thousand tourists crossing the border.

Line of law enforcement in 2019 Buryat customs has opened 20 criminal cases (last year – 21 SOE). The number of cases of administrative offences, compared to the year 2018, increased by 459 cases and amounted to 2403 of the case. Individuals most likely to commit offences: failure to declare consumer goods and cash; moving goods without complying with the prohibitions and restrictions. From the participants of foreign economic activity – the illegal movement of timber, failure to return foreign currency earnings, false Declaration of goods.

In 2020, the Buryat customs intends to continue the work on improvement of customs administration, whose ultimate goal is to minimize costs for participants of foreign economic activity.
