Kursk customs officers detained shoes for “jumping kangaroo”

Kursk customs officers detained a vehicle checkpoint Sudzha 28 pairs of special shoes for the lessons Kangoo Jumping.

In MAPP Sudzha officials of the customs post with the use of mobile inspection complexes (MIS) were examined car, EN route from Moscow to Ukraine. Sensitive equipment recorded the suspicious area in the trunk of a car.

In the ensuing inspection, the officers discovered 28 pairs fancy sports shoes marked “KANGOO JUMPS” weighing about 90 pounds.

According to 29-year-old driver, shoes is designed for practicing Kangoo Jumping (jumping kangaroo) – new popular fitness trend, which consists in exercises with jumps due to a special Shoe on springs. The shoes of a young man used for demonstration lessons (presentations) in Russia and Ukraine.

A citizen of Ukraine goods to the customs authorities was not declared. Based on the number of Shoe and its intended use, the shoes did not fall under the category of goods for personal use.

“In fact fail to declare in the prescribed form of the goods subject to customs Declaration, a criminal case about an administrative offense”,- said the head of the customs post MAPP Sudzha Sergey Vanzha.- “28 pairs of specialized athletic shoes for fitness classes with facilities withdrawn and directed for examination”.
